This week at the Sydney Joomla User group we had a bit more of an open meeting where the members of the meet up get more of an opportunity to stand and contribute to the meet up with questions and answers.
With just under a month to go the Sydney Joomla User Group (SJUG) is proud to present the only Joomla! conference to be held in Australia for 2011, Sydney JoomlaDay 2011, on Sat 5 & Sun 6 Nov 2011, at the University of Technology Sydney – City campus 15 Broadway, Ultimo, NSW 2007.
This month we’re lucky enough to have Campaign Monitor sponsor the WordPress meetup which means lots of pizza and drinks for everyone that attends. We won’t go hungry this month while listening in on an open conversation about WordPress and issues and problems we might be having. This session will not be filmed so please make sure you bring your note pads to take lots of notes.
Over the years of using Joomla! I’ve always wanted and tried to give back in some way. There are so many ways of giving back to the community and I have to say I think I’ve tried them all now. From meetups, donations, coding, writing extensions and plugins all the way to just talking about and sharing my passion for the CMS.
