Joomla's 5th Birthday

Oh how could I forget! Upon waking up this morning and reading through my regular blog posts I see one in particular from the Joomla.org website in regards to Joomla and Joomla.org turning 5 today.

Joomla today celebrates 5 years of existence as the 1st of September marks the day the Joomla.org website was launched.

I must thank Joomla, the developers and all of the community because we as a business may not even exist or be doing as well as we are right now.

We’ll always be supporting Joomla, Joomla Days around Australia and Joomla User Group meetings where ever possible.

Sydney Joomla Day 2010

Posted in: Joomla, News | View Comments Posted: Sep, 1, 2010

Since the cancellation of the Joomla World Conference earlier this year, there is now space in the calendar for the Sydney Joomla User Group to organise the local event for the City of Sydney.

So far the talk is to have the event on the same weekend the Joomla World Conference which was suppose to be held on the 6th and 7th of November.

The venue should be organised very soon as well as the line up of speakers and potential workshops.

The migration process took place over the weekend and for most people, you should have even notice it happening. There are a few accounts that are left on the old server and will be migrated over this week.
