When launching a website design there are so many final touches that need to be done to make sure it is ready for the web. I don’t mean just the small visual corrections or even usability testing that should be done, I’m talking about automated website processes, creating site maps and other things that give the website the best chance in life.

Sydney WordPress Meetup sponsored by Campaign MonitorHad a great night tonight sponsored by Campaign Monitor thanks guys! Tonight was an open topic night where it was an open discussion for everyone. I should have collated a list of questions before hand but I didn’t get a chance to.

Also sorry for the strange early empty post, I was trying to get this plugin for WordPress working that would automatically pull in the photos from my Fan page of the night from Facebook but it didn’t work out the way I wanted it to. It might have worked if it was pulling the images from the managing account but didn’t work from a Fan page.

To see all of the images of the night please visit the Meetup.com page for the meetup or see http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150420394870862.409805.152767770861&type=3

We’ve put together a short video of some of the web design and development work that has been produced from the Sydney office this year. There are many more that we’ve worked and and just as many to launch this year so I’ll update this video with more lovely content.

Most of the website are done with either Joomla or WordPress with all the Joomla ones using K2!

There is plenty of very interesting conversation in regards to the Joomla Platform and a lot of the development that employees from eBay have been working on and contributing back to the Joomla project.
